Carbon Capture Tech Expo North America 2025
Atoco at the Carbon Capture Tech Expo North America 2025
Houston, Texas, USA – June. 25-26
Atoco is excited to announce our participation as a Gold Sponsor at the Carbon Capture Technology Expo North America in 2025, the premier international event dedicated to carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) technologies. Held in Houston, Texas, from June 26–27, this event brings together global innovators, scientists, policymakers, and industry leaders committed to advancing decarbonization efforts and achieving net-zero emissions.
As a company on the forefront of materials innovation for carbon capture, Atoco is proud to discuss its next-generation solid-state capture technology and engage in the critical conversations shaping the future of climate technology.
Attend Our Exclusive Session on Cost-Efficient Carbon Capture based on Reticular Materials
Atoco’s Vice President of Technology Partnerships, Prof. Grant Glover, will deliver a keynote presentation addressing one of the most persistent challenges in carbon capture: the high cost and inefficiency of capturing CO₂ from low-concentration sources.
Date: Wednesday, June 25
Local Time: 10:00 AM
Location: NRG Center, Houston, Texas, USA
Speaker: Prof. Grant Glover, VP of Technology Partnerships
Session Topic: Transformative Carbon Capture: Pioneering Cost Effective And Scalable Solutions for Low-CO2 Concentration Applications
While carbon capture has long been viewed as a crucial pillar in global climate strategy, cost barriers—especially in the capture phase—have limited its broader implementation. For applications like Direct Air Capture (DAC), where CO₂ concentrations are as low as 0.04% (approximately 420 ppm), or in low-concentration post-combustion capture (PCC) settings such as those found in the power generation industry, traditional solutions often lack the scalability and economic viability needed for widespread deployment.
In his presentation, Prof. Glover will unveil Atoco’s breakthrough in solid-state carbon capture using advanced reticular materials. These nano-engineered materials are designed with atomic precision to strike the ideal balance between CO₂ selectivity and binding energy, resulting in efficient adsorption and regeneration processes that minimize energy demands and operational costs.
The session will explore how Atoco’s modular, scalable approach to carbon capture opens the door to transformative reductions in cost—potentially making large-scale DAC and low-concentration capture economically feasible.
Visit Us at the Booth #1023
Atoco will host a full exhibition booth on the show floor, where attendees can:
- Explore our solid-state carbon capture technology designed for high-efficiency, low-energy CO₂ separation
- Learn about our proprietary reticular materials developed with atomic precision for optimal CO₂ selectivity and regeneration
- Discover real-world applications of our technology in Direct Air Capture (DAC) and industrial low-concentration CO₂ streams
Whether you’re a researcher, technology partner, policymaker, or potential collaborator, our booth will be a hub for meaningful dialogue and technical insight.
Why This Matters
Carbon capture is essential to achieving global net-zero goals, but innovation is urgently needed to overcome technical and economic barriers. Atoco’s mission is to enable this transformation by developing materials and systems that redefine what’s possible in carbon capture.
We invite all attendees to join the conversation, visit our booth, and attend Prof. Glover’s keynote to see how Atoco is helping shape a carbon-neutral future.
We look forward to seeing you in Houston. Together, we can transform the future of carbon capture.
