Reticular Science Prize for Emerging Scholars and Innovators 2027
Submissions for the Reticular Science Prize for Emerging Scholars and Innovators 2027 are now open.
Nominations must be submitted by October 1, 2026, 5:00 pm PT. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
The recipient will be chosen by an independent selection committee comprising distinguished scientists in the field. The decision will be based on the scientific merit and impact of the nominee’s contributions.
Selection Committee
The recipient of the Reticular Science Prize for Emerging Scholars and Innovators is chosen by the same independent selection committee, comprising distinguished scientists in the field.
The nominee must have made an outstanding contribution to the discovery and/or innovation in the science, engineering, computing, and/or AI of modular molecular systems through original research.
Nominations are open to scientists and engineers at career stages within 10 years from receiving their doctorate degree. Senior researchers are encouraged to seek nomination under the Reticular Science Prize.
The prize will be awarded to an individual who is responsible for the discovery and/or innovation in the field.
Nomination Form: A complete nomination form listing the candidate and nominator and their contact information, a description of the nominee’s innovation or discovery, list of at most three relevant publication(s). Each nomination will be valid for three cycles with the possibility of updating the nomination in each of the cycles, provided such updates are made by the submission deadline, October 1, 2026.

Curriculum Vitae: A CV of the nominee and a list of publications for the seven years preceding the year of nomination.
Supporting Letters: Two letters (each no more than 500 words) from experts in the field, commenting on the significance of the nominee’s work.

The inaugural Reticular Science Prize for Emerging Scholars and Innovators will be given at EuroMOF-2027 conference to be held in Como, Italy where the recipient will deliver an award lecture on their research.
The flight and hotel accommodation of the recipient of the Prize will be sponsored by Atoco, Inc. (the sponsor of the Prize). Additionally, an award lunch or dinner will be hosted by Atoco, Inc. for the awardee, the available members of the Selection Committee, two representatives of Atoco and a guest of the awardee.
